Hello lash lovelies! Just wanted to share a little lash 411. So the average lash lover probably has no idea the chemistry involved in the process of lashing. Most clients think the application is super breezy, but if the temperature isn't matching what the adhesive requires and the amount of humidity isn't high enough it might make any seasoned lash artist struggle with application.
Most lash adhesives on the market have a specific drying time according to average temperatures between 65 - 72 degrees F with the ideal humidity at 45% - 60%. So sometimes living in climates with drastic fluctuations in temperatures can cause bad lash retention.
Just remember to be a little more forgiving if lashes seem to shed quickly compared to your last session! There's nothing wrong with a little fix as long as you're remembering to approach your artist kindly instead of annoyed. Trust me, as an artist we take pride in our work and always strive to deliver the best results. Please remember that every session will be different depending on environmental factors but also what shedding cycles your lashes might be in!
